Was wondering if anyone had any experience with the new engine. Had my 22 in for routine service and crossed paths with the salesman who sold it to me. He was pushing the 25’s hard. 99% sure I don’t want to be a Guinea Pig for the Hurricane I-6 but would like to know about any real world experiences before switching to GMC.

Rock meet hard place. Continue with ‘22 and have it undercoated with lanolin. That’s my plan.

I think it’s going to take a year or so before a clear picture develops on the new power trains.

Sorry to hear about your issue, I hope they get it sorted out soon.

I'm not surprised they're pushing the hell out of the new I-6, without the Hemi and no cars to sell (Challenger, Charger, 300) they are probably desperate to sell anything at this point.

Thank you for taking one for the team. Know that all your headaches go toward the aiding rest of us not buying one of these newly formed POS's. Check back when you find a tech that knows where to start, and how to repair.

My son has leased a 2025 Bighorn, so far he says all good to go,. Guess time will tell.

ADDED: They R real desperate to sell. They got the SST 2025's knocked down from 63 to 50 here. Lonestar trim.

CAVEAT: I have watched a lot of video's on the 25's to include TFL's. More power and TQ but they R quiet as a mouse, AND they do not offer the HO motor on the lower trims, U gotta go way up like Limited or Tungsten to get the HO motor. IMHO, that be a big mistake.

So sorry to hear. The Engine light on my 22 Laramie came on within 100 miles of me driving it off the lot, brand new. Only 3 miles on it when I purchased it. Swapped injectors and replaced O2 sensors. Transmission chugs, tugs and gets stuck transitioning gears still to this day. Ended up dinging the front and back ends when the "chug and tug" overrode park assist. It was in the shop more than I drove it during first 60 days of ownership. Hard shifts out of park. But at least they got the engine light to finally turn off. Uconnect works about 60% of the time. Wireless phone charging pad has never worked.

They have been in the Jeep Grand Cherokee for a while.
