4" Screen unresponsive Two days ago my screen went dead, well not totally, it is unresponsive stuck on the sirius screen, you can turn volume up and down hit mute and nothing else from volume knob. touch screen does nothing. can't even get into settings or anything else. would it be helpful to take negative cable off battery for 5 min to reset radio? or is that a bad idea, right now is stuck on last radio station I was listening to and maybe lose that is I reset it. any help would be useful...thanks

There is an inline radio fuse in the engine bay just in front of the battery and the brake booster you can take out.

Looked for inline fuse, there was not one there. also looked in the fuse panel in front of battery, not one labelled radio, there is one labelled bluetooth, does not do anything for radio fix

To be clear, when I say in front of the battery I mean as you stand at the driver's fender and look over the top of the battery to the other side. The brake booster will be on your right mounted to the firewall.

Edit: if you post a picture of this area in your truck I can highlight where it should be.

ok, found the inline fuse. pulled it out , it shut down radio, black screen now, no radio... let it set like 15 minutes, put fuse back in, came back on to same problem, screen says sirius, can only adjust volume still nothing else works, stuck on same screen. any other advise, was this supposed to have reset radio???

I think there is a reset but I don't know the process for those radios. Look up RA2 reset on this forum.

In addition, if you have AlfaOBD you can connect to the radio directly and choose the Reset ECU option.

Not sure what AlfaOBD is? Stupid here...lol Thank you SitKneeBend for all the help.
No problem! It's a very useful (and way undervalued) app that can be used to connect to the trucks modules to diagnose issues or add/delete factory features. If I come across the reset procedure I'll post it here.
