I have a 2016 1500 and have codes C2200-49 (ABS Module) and C0020-01 (ABS pump motor control). I've been doing a ton of research on this and have found that the pump motor on the Heavy Duty Rams has a very common issue where one or both of the brushes get stuck and cannot make contact. I have found the repair in some of the forums and one youtube video, however they are all aimed at 2500/3500 trucks. On those trucks there are just two torx screws to remove the motor from the HCU. I'd like to attempt the same repair on just the motor, but the 1500 motor is mounted much differently to the HCU than on the 2500/3500's. Has anyone attempted to remove the ABS pump motor on a 1500 and repair it?
