Ita not that I'm 100% unhappy with my 6.4 and 4.10 rear. My biggest issue is towing heavy in the mountains when you need to start from a dead stop. The 3.23 1st gear is a bit too high to get the load moving quickly. These Hemi trucks need to rev to make torque and hp, but with such a high 1st gear it's hard to do.
So by regearing to something lower, you are ultimately lowering your overall 1st gear as well. Yes, it remains a 3.23, but running through a lower rear gear, it feels much lower and more capable. Just my thoughts on it all after towing heavy a few times.
