Can I use a slightly wider wheel?

I already contact CORE earlier. I get an automated response that someone will get back to me and up to 48 hours. Not impressed with that.
I can get you setup with what ever items you want from them. For your application upgrading rear control arms and sway bar is not a need but will for sure help, especially the rear sway bar. If you want those items quoted you can just respond to our existing private message and Ill get that worked up for you.

I already ordered the heavy duty Helwig 1” thick rear sway bar. It comes with new bushings and brackets.

I already have new front wheel hubs, outer tie rods, ball joints. I am well enough to replace those. I may order the front inner tie rods as well. I have a tool kit for those and a master ball joint kit.

I’ll let a mechanic installl the Eibach pro system and CORE 4x4 front control arms, and HD front sway bar links.

As I recall the second setting on the front Eibach Pro struts is @ 2 3/4” lift? Or is it something else?

The rear shocks has a 1” lift? Is that right? Will the truck level? Or do I need to raise the rear more?

Thanks for any input

This is my thoughts on your rear suspension. Some adjustment available if your lift is 6 inches or higher

Here's where I'd look at wheels in 18 or 20 with offset no more than -10.

After thinking it over I’m going to get 20x9 wheels. There seemed to be a lot of choices. And the wheels cost less than the 10 inch wide versions.
I love you. Thanks again. I found a few with -10° offset.

What can you guys tell me about tires? What is working real good in these RAM Trucks? Something that will perform well and last. Again, it’s going to be a road vehicle and eventually will be towing.

Thanks again!

Nitto, Terra graper g3. Good balance. Decent traction, good in rain and snow. About 60k wear. Expensive but, top rated.

Cheaper toyo, at

Last Cooper. But I'm biased.

thanks!

I was on the Eibach website and found the chart of the two different heights for the front struts. They have a ring which determines the height. The first setting is 2.25 inches of height in the front. The second ring is 3 inches of height. However, the rear shocks will only raise the backend about 1 inch higher.

If I choose to have the 3 inch height in the front , I’m worried about the truck not sitting level.

One of the guys posted a link to the CORE brand rear end suspension kit. Would those components help raise the rear end slightly higher? Again to keep the truck more level?

Like I said, this new lifted suspension plan is kind of new to me. It’s going to be used strictly for street driving and occasional towing.

I checked out the Nitto Terra grappler G3. Just about $300 per tire. It’s not too bad. I remember spending @ $1200 years ago for a set of Michelins for my old 2008 ram 1500

We live in Florida and we can get torrential rain down here. But we still occasionally drive up north to see family and friends. Unfortunately, we were on Long Island during the last blizzard a few weeks ago. Stayed at a family home. Had to shovel 22” of that white crap again! ‍

I run the Blackhawk Ridgecrawler RT on my '19 classic and really like them. Aggressive AT tread pattern. Figure I'll get 50K from them. They are 275/65/20 (34") 10 ply tire. Have a pair of stock rims with 305/55/20 (33.5") mud grips for back during deer season.

I wasn't gonna bring this up , but I totally agree, I always run the smallest rims that will clear the brakes

And personally, I love seeing some sidewall on a tire
I like more tire than wheel too,
I bought my truck with 20” wheels, than switched to 18” x 9” but not enough offset so had to use 1” wheel spacer.
I have 17” x 9” now, no spacers, definitely my favorite setup between the three.

I had 20s on my classic, then went 17s with 315 70 17 and a .375 spacer. Really like the set up.

Looking at the tires, are you guys strictly using your trucks for highways? Or are you using them off road as well?

I overland in mine, for photo purposes, also highway, but not heavy duty off roading.

Think trails, dirt roads and undeveloped land, not mud pits, bogs Or swamps

I'm in Montana, so snow, ice and the like.

That diagram is accurate. The rear coils are what will give you 1" of lift. The rear control arms do not add lift. At 3" of front lift and 1" of rear lift you wont look squated until you tow.

Listen to those that know lifts. Stock works but once you install a lift. You quickly move away from stock.

As to wider wheels, 10 wide will work 35s will reset your miles per gallon quickly. Especially if you have 3.92s

If you're going to stick a TT behind it, you probably want to think about core or other brand rear control arms. And I would not overlook the Roadmaster rear bar from etrailer. It's thicker than the hellwig and similar priced. Is the only bar I'll run.

Lots of choices. Good luck
I’ve has several communications with Korby at CORE products. He reccomended the “Track series” adjustable kit. I’m going to order the 7 piece kit. Upper & Lower control arms, track bar & end links.

I already put in the Eibach Pro lift rear coil springs and shocks. Also a Helwig 1” HD sway bar.

Waiting on more front end parts. Replacing the lower control arms, inner & outer tie rods, wheel hub/bearing kit, and new CORE upper control arms.

I’ve also been in touch with Derrick at custom offsets. Working on details for wheels and tires

I already installed the rear Eibach Pro lift coil springs and the shocks. Also a Helwig 1” HD control arm. Currently 12 3/4 inches from top edge of wheel to fender edge.

Will probably also add the CORE “Track Series” adjustable 7 piece kit. Upper & Lower control arms, track bar and end links.

Waiting for more front end parts.
