Clunk noise coming from NVG243 transfer case

Hello, I have a 2010 RAM 1500 equipped with the NVG243 transfer case. I’ve been hearing this terrible clunking noise when switching from park to reverse, reverse to drive, drive to park, and honestly any switching of PRND. I have just changed the fluid and there were some metal shavings in it, but nothing crazy. I’m not sure if it’s ever been changed, as I’m not the original owner. Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. I have attached a video of the transfer case.

Did you ever figure out what this is? My 2009 making the same noise and even sounds like it's binding up when driving. So loud it caused me to stop and limp it home. Now trying to figure out if it could be tcase intermittent. Thanks!
