Dusty,I could be wrong, but I don't remember anyone on this site with a 5th gen complain about it, unless it was an exhaust manifold issue. I most definitely haven't heard of a 5th gen having it locally.

2019 Ram 1500 Billet Silver Laramie Quad Cab 2WD, 5.7 Hemi, 8HP75, 3.21 axle, 33-gallon fuel tank, 18” wheels. Build Date: 3 June 2018. Now at 115635 miles.
I have 75k on my 2019 5.7 with no tick except when I first start it up. Goes away quick. Seems normal to me. I have had to replace manifold bolts due to a few of them snapping off at the head of the bolt on my passenger side.
