I'm sure this has been asked before but I can't find the answer. 2016 Ram Ecodiesel. Doing oil change. Old oil that was in engine and drained, equivalent to a 2.5 gallon jug after sitting for over an hour. If I'm correct that is 8.5 quarts of oil. Capacity of oil pan is supposed to be 10.5 quarts. It was exactly like this the last time I changed oil. Why doesn't this compute?
