So i had my alternator go out. Replaced it and the battery. lm leaning towards a bad pcm. I have a 2012 ram 1500 with the 5.7.
So on the denso alternator, when i back probe the alternator field wire connector to jump power to that wire, the truck shuts off. Why? makes no sense. In the past, all that did was make the alternator fire up. The alt is good. Any ideas why the engine would shut off?
