I have done the exhaust manifold replacement on my 2010 Dodge Ram 1500 before and it went again. I found 2 bolts sheered off at the heat shield which is fine, but now I can’t get the clamp tight enough where the manifold connects to the exhaust? The bolts came with the manifold so I presume they are correct, but I don’t remember this being difficult in the past?

Does this have to be tight and any suggestions on getting better leverage to get it tight enough?IMG_7663.jpegIMG_7664.jpegIMG_7664.jpeg

Yup you guys are right. Thanks so much! Simple solution and saves me even more headaches. Came with the manifold so I didn’t even think to check.

Much appreciated.
Cheers!
