Have 2 key fobs for truck - changed battery in one. Vehicle starts/runs fine BUT the fob no longer locks the truck. Unlock/panic buttons work. Body shop guy that changed battery told me key fob bad? although worked until battery change. Dirt on fob board? compressed air to fix? Thought initially just needed to be reset but tried that following directions from dealerships & cannot access the panic button when key fob in ignition (WIN) in the run position. Locksmith said not possible for key fob to work if it won't lock truck - said key fob bad and new programmed replacement a mere $240.....pfft! Appreciate inputs!!!
