key pods

My key pods are starting to fail. They work here and there? I have opened them up and its just a small little disk that makes the contact with chip when you press button.
I have tried cleaning and applying a bit of grease, but still slip off contact point and door doesnt open or close.

Does anyone have a fix for this little nuisance?
better grease?
Type of grease?
Buy new ones?
Glue disk to rubber pad?

I would buy new inserts and use those

But, when I did that, I had to cut off the "panic" section of the stocker because the new one was to high and would press it when I put the key in the ignition
