Lift kit question

I'm looking at the BDS 8" long arm lift kit for my Dodge ram 3500 mega cab truck. The manufacturer sicker on my truck says 06/2007 and when I look up the kits the years are for 2003-2007 and 2008. So my question, is my truck considered a 2008 or do I buy the kit for 2003-2007?

06 is the month -- June.

Buy whatever your model year is, which it will say on the title. If it was made in June of 07 I would expect it to be an 07 model year and be too early for the switch to 08 model year, but again just reference your title.

Wish I had better intel, but isn't there a weird model change in the heavy duty trucks in 06/07/08. Not sure if it even effects suspension or what would be different. My son is into the diesel trucks and had 07 but it was an 07 1/2 model year with the 6.7 not the 5.9. Point being is do your research. Can you call bds? What does the title for your truck say your year is?

Usually your the sticker on the door is one year behind your actual year of the truck. Example is the 2025 will be coming out soon if some haven't already. No way could that sticker say they were built 2025 since it's not 2025 yet. Not all are like that but I've been burnt before ordering parts for a vehicle based off the year on the sticker inside the door. (Oil pressure sensor on my mom's 03 jeep gc not 02 like the door said).

The 10th digit in your VIN will tell you what model year your truck is

If it's a 7,your truck is a 2007...if it's an 8,it's a 2008
