I have been running regular Wix 57060 or Mobil m113 filters in my 6.4 with Mobil 0w40 for the last 45k miles. I was seeing 25 psi at hot idle, in gear.

Made the switch to the Royal Purple 10-48 filter, now I see 27psi at hot idle throughout the OCI. After reading through here I am going to make the switch to a bigger filter like the 20-820 or the Fram FE2 and see what numbers I get with that.

What are you folks seeing in your 6.4 trucks for oil pressure and what combo oil/filter are you using?

Edit to add: I got to talk with a guy who was making a delivery from Alabama, pulling a medium size trailer with *230 degree water and oil temps when he pulled in had 34psi at idle. This was with 180k on a 2019 6.4. Im not worried about my pressure, but I feel shorted when hard used trucks are giving 7-8lbs more than my well kept piece.

35 psi idle, 55 psi above idle

Reads nearly identical whether Royal Purple 20-500 or Fram Ultra XG10575.
RP 20-820 doesn't fit, lower radiator hose is in the way of the larger than stock diameter this filter has.
I am changing to Fram Endurance FE10575 next oil change. It's basically what the original Utra was before they cheapened it but kept the price the same (higher profit).
Same high efficiency as RP, supposedly lowered flow restriction somewhat, and higher contaminant capacity than RP.

fyi, Fram Endurance is only available @ Wally World, surprisingly. Must have signed some kind of exclusive marketing and pricing agreement.
Sounds like a violation of Sherman Antitrust Act to me. Oh, well!

Envious. And thats with Redline 5w-30?

Walmart works out good for me because I usually buy my oil there. What is the difference in the FE2 and the FE10575?

Yep. Or Red Line 0W-30, which shears ~ 8% after 5,000 miles, according to my VOA/UOA test results.
fyi, Red Line 5W-30 sheared 0% under harsher conditions (summer heat, trailer towing).

FE2 is equivalent size to RP 20-820
FE10575 is equivalent size to RP 20-500

To repeat, in my truck, the 20-820 will not fit unless I re-plumb the lower radiator hose, which I'm not gonna do. So I use a filter having same diameter as stock, but longer.

The FRAM FE2 compared to the FRAM FE10575 difference is hight and diameter.

Some folks with the 6.4 HEMI have a fitment issue and opt to use the taller but "skinny" oil filter.

The smaller diameter FRAM FE10575's base plate will mount to the engines oil filter base, the same as the MOPAR 339, WIX 57060,MOBIL 1 M113, and Royal Purple 10-48.

The FRAM XG10575 in comparison to the FRAM FE10575 are the same in diameter, the XG10575 is a little smaller in height.

Imo, the FRAM FE10575 is an much better filter than the FRAM XG10575.

Im hoping for good luck with the Fram so I can stock up before they change them. Trying to keep up with the numbers and changes is a job.

Looks like Ill need to do some measuring to see which flavor Ill choose. Sure is a sharp filter.

Some folks use the Royal Purple 20-500 on their 6.4 HEMI beast. It is an great alternative and compares to the FRAM FE 10575.

That's pretty much all we do here, now days - track all the corporate takeovers and product cheapenings.

Don't get us started on the Hurricane Engine - there's a number of rant threads about that.

Didn't you put in a hi flo oil pump in that? And bump idle up from 650 rpm to 750 rpm?
The Challenger idled at roughly 725,the truck and 300 had their idles upped to 750,lol..I'm not a fan of the high volumn pumps on a 5.7. The 6.4 with it's piston squirters might benefit slightly from the higher volumn pumps, but i think upping the idle rpm is the better way to generate more oil flow at idle.None of my toys have ever had their oil pumps changed
Even stock on the dealer oil changes, the 6.4 idled at 40+ psi though, and that was on 0W-40 PUP with an SRT filter
