I've got a 2019 and twice in the last 3 months it has stalled at idle. any suggestions here? i was going to look at the spark plugs and clean the throttle body. truck has 55k miles and is serviced religiously. It happened the first time after a Baja surf trip where you buy gas on the roadside and its a little dirty (you never know what they cut it with). I did use several fuel injector cleaners over the next 2 weeks after that trip though

I would get a pressure gauge on the fuel rail. Both running and idle psi. My suspicion is a weak fuel pump but either way that should tell you if it's fuel related.

I would post this in the general forum also as you will probably get more comments. This isn't anything specific to a PW.

Do you get any engine codes/check engine light when this happens?

Dealerships are the worst. I brought the truck in and now it hasnt stalled at idle or while driving (both of which it did the day before) so they won't do anything unless i'm paying an hourly rate of $270 to try and figure it out. I'm under warranty but can't do much except pick up the truck and try to trouble shoot the problem myself

You bought crap gas, and it stalls out. Surprises me not at all. Run it on quality gas, you did good by putting in cleaner, and see if it stalls any more. Start hauling your own fuel if better stuff can;'t be found down there. Could easily be just a fuel issue.

Total guess here, but do you think you bought bad gas in Mexico and it took a bit for the computer to figure out timing due to that swing? If it only happened after buying that fuel then "reset", maybe that would explain it?

Again, total guess but would seem to be plausible given the lack of codes and the information you provided.

so its unlikley to have persisted this long past the trip. so the first idle stall was about 5 gas tanks after the baja trip with USA gas. Since then i've run about 50 full tanks of Chevron etc through it and the problem seems to be getting worse not better

You know, it would be a LOT easier to provide good advice if you actually took the time to post that very pertinent information in the first place. Pretty hard to help when you don't even have half the story. Let us know what you find out for the cause.
