He passed away about 8 years ago.The current owner did track down my cousin though,in the hopes of talking to his Dad (my uncle) about a year after he'd passed. My Aunt did send him some of the original literature on the car, which she still had. The car was also featured in Mopar Action a little over a year ago to. I was about 10 years old when he traded his 68 Road Runner off on the car,and as a kid i always thought he was nuts,as his Road Runner was done up as a Day 2 car with big-n-little tires, and i loved that car, lol. I thought the Charger was butt ugly when him and my Dad brought it home, and to this day,i still think it was one of the uglier Chargers built, lol. My Dad and Uncle were actually hunting farm tractors when they stumbled across the car sitting on the lot in Medicine Hat,and my Uncle ended up buying the car, instead of a tractor, lolI apologize if you've said before and I hadn't seen it but is your uncle still around to get to see his old car? I've never had a real Hemi car, always wanted one though. Great story!
