Yeah I noticed that. Stellantis is now recalling vehicles that haven't even been designed or built now.

Well, my 2019 has been fine, NOT gonna let RAM flash it. The last time they Flashed a Repair was on my ED, and it went from a Great truck to a "Dog".

Set the cruise using the non-adaptivie cruise, then it will limit the revs to hold the speed. I can set mine as low as 18 mph.

Heck they closing all the engineering stuff, firing all the us workers and moving all to Mexico. There is a list of closing thru 2025. Yeah gotta luv the CEO. No way I would get me thing new now. Looks like they trying to drive US production out but keep profits up hmmmm. All IMHO.

Tried that gears down and I was up to 3500 rpm so used the brakes before it go to bad as it is the min throttle till cat or something is warm enough

The torque converters in these trucks are very tight/low stall speed for mpg. When cold they push pretty hard. Letting mine warm up until the idle speed drops to ~500rpm makes a big difference.

Apparently doesn't apply to my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited (e-torque). VIN search on the mopar website was negative for recalls....

Yeah when I did a search for my 2019 1500 Classic gen 4 (at the INSISTENCE of my Father-in-law, who watches for recalls LIKE A HAWK), mine doesn't appear to be part of the recall... At least not in Canada.

I've been assuming this was for 5th gens, otherwise it would probably also include 4th gens produced before 2019 since they were relatively unchanged since 2018. The article also states that the recall affects models in Canada, Mexico, and other parts of the world. I'm pretty confident that 4th gens aren't included in this recall since there is very little in common between 4th and 5th gens outside the power train.

They are trying to sell everything.
EVs are not selling over there as expected
Stellantis made promises to the Union when they shut down Gas Powered vehicles that were Top Sellers.
They are putting the employees to work in different divisions at Sterling Heights & Warren Michigan assembly plants. Both plants are being converted to build EVs
