"The recall covers certain trucks from 2029 and 2021 through 2025 models of the Ram 1500 trucks."
Yeah I noticed that. Stellantis is now recalling vehicles that haven't even been designed or built now.
Set the cruise using the non-adaptivie cruise, then it will limit the revs to hold the speed. I can set mine as low as 18 mph.The programmers they have are no very bright
I have complained about my truck pushing me down hill when cold
told to warm it up first and that is better for the environment
Tried that gears down and I was up to 3500 rpm so used the brakes before it go to bad as it is the min throttle till cat or something is warm enoughSet the cruise using the non-adaptivie cruise, then it will limit the revs to hold the speed. I can set mine as low as 18 mph.

No brakes work fine I just need to use them to control speed till the truck quits pushingIs that anything like this: https://www.ramforum.com/threads/wh...-hard-brakes-not-stopping.128905/post-1851425
The torque converters in these trucks are very tight/low stall speed for mpg. When cold they push pretty hard. Letting mine warm up until the idle speed drops to ~500rpm makes a big difference.
Yeah when I did a search for my 2019 1500 Classic gen 4 (at the INSISTENCE of my Father-in-law, who watches for recalls LIKE A HAWK), mine doesn't appear to be part of the recall... At least not in Canada.Apparently doesn't apply to my 2019 Ram 1500 Limited (e-torque). VIN search on the mopar website was negative for recalls....
