Seeing this issue reported but no fixes. Out of warranty, 46k miles. Visor just fell off, or mostly fell off. Won't stay up, something broke where it connects into ceiling. This truck is falling apart 2.5 years into ownership (just got a new fuel tank and fixed an exhaust leak, both out of warranty) . Is there a fix outside of an entire new visor?

Does that new visor include the garage door buttons and wiring?

When I was young, there were dinosaurs roaming.... Asian cars fell apart like this. Now, it seems roles have reversed!

You must have missed the 80's....Which is where Asian cars grew in popularity because of the garbage coming out of Detroit.

Good question. I would like to know that too. My 2021 2500 has the garage buttons in the visor. Always thought it was a pretty stupid location to wire something in that gets swung back and forth multiple times a day. I presume that will be a failure point for the garage door opener in the future.

Welcome to the club it only gets more expensive from Here. My most expensive endeavour so far had been an engine when my cam ate its self.

40k on it now :D still getting 12-14L/100 when I drive nice. Took a buddy for a ride in it the other day and he decided it was in his best interest not to race me after we got over the 200 mark.

Well now that mine is broken I can see it's wired in a braided wire, I don't think it's going to get messed up from movement.

Oem or other? I'm seeing them a lot more than $100. Would much rather go this route than screwing black clips into my tab ceiling.
OEM. Ordered it from here:

Thanks. Your photo above looks like a black headliner, but the part number looks like a tan one on google searches? I need the tan one, just checking. The MOPAR parts sites aren't clear on color and I'm not even sure there are other color headliners, I just want to be sure before I order.

The picture is the tan one but look at the description of the individual item for your color

So this happened to my truck and I’ve got an idea… I also dont want to add black clips to my tan headliner. I removed the whole thing. The plastic attachment that goes into the recessed pocket that seems like it should clip seems to have the opposite taper that it should making the top flimsy plastic piece the weak point. I imagine mine looks like yours where the top piece of plastic broke off so now you can slam it up there and it sits for a bit or until you touch it and then it slides back out. My theory…which should get tested soon is this.

Epoxy the top piece into the top of the receiving hole. Push the rest of the plastic into the receiving hole once dry and pull up on the connector cable so it is tight in place. Then put a zip tie on the cables as close as possible. Pull real tight, possibly even glue to the wire. Then the wires can rotate still but cannot pull down, which will then prevent the plastic from slipping down and keep your visor in place and fully functional! Am I crazy or does this have some potential? I was gonna just glue it in the hole but realized that would limit any rotation for sun coming in the side window.

FCA garbage needs repair, seems like the fix should be above the roof liner
