I had a 3.92 gear and a posi put in a few days ago in my 2014 ram Hemi 6 speed.
I must say I'm impressed with the results, it really hammers now when you kick it down a gear, it's turned my little Ram into a hot rod. I love it!
Thanks to Moes for selling those OEM Mopar parts for such a good price and I also thank them for taking back the bearing kit my Drive train guy didn't need to use.
If your truck has a 3.21 and you want it to run a lot better drop in a 3.92 gear!

I had the 3.92 and 8spd from the factory but with an open rear. Truck would ignite the one tire even at half throttle... love my posi tho

I went 355 open diff to 410's and LSD and it was the best thing I have done for performance. Money well spent:favorites13:

Gears are always going to be 1 of the better mods you can install for the money. Hard to beat the mechanical advantage of a higher gear ratio.

Just out of curiosity, did the gear change effect the accuracy of the speedo? If it did, what is the solution to correct it? Thanks

Does anyone have a definitive answer on a 2015 4x4 gear swap?

I've seen several say they are welded in front, and quite a few people say the 2015's ARE NOT welded.

I would call Dodge, but these guys all have different answers.

The only bad thing, if you want to call it that, about gears, is that now the truck is so much more lively, you find yourself driving a bit more aggressively. Now, you have good throttle response. It's so much more satisfying to mash on the gas.

I was thinking about going from 3.92 to 4.10s, is it really worth it or....?

Going from a 3.92 to a 4.10 wouldn't be worth the time or money. If you are going to step up from the 3.92's, then I would go straight to a 4.56.

Im considering same swap on my 09 hemi 5spd w 3.55. How much did this run you? Any noticeable mpg loss?

What was the total cost for both gear sets and install if you don't mind me asking?
