2014, HD 2500 original owner. For the first 10+ years I had my truck I parked on a slight nose-high spot but have recently moved to a slight nose-low spot and water is collecting in the front of the bed. The truck often sits for days or even a couple weeks without being driven which doesn't help. I have a soft tonneau (no, I'm not spending 2K on a hard, water-tight cover) that ultimately lets a little water in. Anyone ever drill a couple holes in the front of the bed for drainage or have any other great words of wisdom?

And yes, I realize if I park the other direction it won't be a problem.

I would check your bed, on all my trucks of the big three, there are already drain holes. Maybe yours are clogged?

Awesome... thanks! Yeah, it's funny, even with parking to drain back it seems I would have got water at some point over the 12 years.

There's little slots about 1/3 of the way over from either side. As others have said, yours may be plugged (or if you have a spray in maybe they coated over them?).

You don't need an expensive bed cover or even a hard cover to be near water tight. A cheap tri-fold and a tailgate gasket has always worked for me.
