Patting myself on the back today. I got the wretched bolts off of the driveshaft flange and dropped the front driveshaft out of the way far enough to get at the shift bracket on the side of the transmission. This allowed the installation of @caulk04 's transmission heater bypass doodad.Attempting to drop front drive shaft. 2 1/2 bolts loose and ready to come off. 4th bolt is presently defeating me. I'm running out of gas. Trusty 1/2" breaker bar/16" pipe extender, previously a formidable combination, is having a tough time loosening these bolts. A VERY tough time. Milwaukee 1/2" Fuel impact wrench is cowering in the corner, crying. It makes nice rattling sounds like it's doing something. But it's not.
Useless.
I think I'll call it a day.
Tomorrow back at it. The joys of wrenching.
That sucks I am sorry.Planned to do a much needed exterior detail ( wash, clay, paint correction, polish, sealant, etc) but the city decided to excavate the streets in the neighbor hood and create massive amount of dust.

Check this thread out, Chopperman recently posted a lot of info on a nice kit he just installed.Rotated the tires and changed the oil and filter.
The oil filter location is ridiculous. Dumps oil all over the front end components and a plug that leads to the front end. I assume it's for the auto 4WD . Not sure.
Anyway, gonna start researching filter re-location kits.
