2020 Tradesman and Uconnect 5 8.4 media hub issue

I have a 2020 Tradesman that had the "UCONNECT 3 WITH 5" DISPLAY" "5.0" TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY". I bought a salvage Uconnect 5 8.4" and the required adapter cables. The only things not working are the compass and the media hub, the USB's on the media hub charge my phone but thumb drives with music files are not recognized. I checked my equipment listing with my VIN and I see "MEDIA HUB-2 USB, FULL FUNCT, AUX", looks to me it should have the capability.

I've tried a couple thumb drives, auto play USB drives is enabled in settings.
No media connections on the media hub work to play files or are recognized by the radio as options, USB C, USB or AUX.
On the radio my only source options are FM, AM, Bluetooth and XM.

Is there anything I need to change in AlphaOBD to enable this?
I have an OBD tool and security gateway bypass on the way for my upcoming speedometer swap anyway.

I know a little about this to ask what is the part number you installed? I think you have a 4th Gen Ram (numbers on door versus 5th Gen have them on hood). Not sure about interoperability between radios designed for 4th versus 5th generation trucks. Possible that your problem stems from having a 5th Gen head unit in your truck, also could be that hub isn't what vin check says it is, check that part number. Where did you buy adapter harness from? Check with them for correct part for your head unit and hub. They should be helping you figure this out. If you return you can buy from M²Mods in our vendor section and get right part and top after sales service. Good luck.

I'm 5th gen, the radio is also from a 5th gen. Harness was purchased from car oem radio on ebay. Do you happen to know the part number for the full function media hub?

The same issue happens with me. I upgrade my radio to new Uconnect 5 8.4. all futures working except the (AUX and USB1 and USB2) it’s missing on media source as attached image.
Note that the phone charging and wired CarPlay and Android Auto working fine using the USB ports.
