    The wire is a dedicated ground for the ecm. I would replace the connector at the battery and check/ clean the ecm end also. Also clean the terminals on both batteries.

    Let me jump in and say it looks like they were installed because if you look close at the bed supports you will see sticky pads and below at the mounting/screw hole, it’s been used. Someone needed for their truck, could have been in transit or at the dealer. IMO

    I’d check the timing chain for slack, easy to do won’t take but a couple minutes.

    I believe the coil is bad, test it and test the plug wires, if bad put some new plug wires on seeing you never mentioned them.

    I agree with you Spike95 seems to be a place to start. His comment was he checked the grounds on engine and Bay Area and then took a trip, and didn’t have a issue till 200 miles. Also a lot of these components he is getting codes for shares the same ground.
