Is there a way to manually shift gears? Heading up the mountain over the weekend with 2 dirt bikes and gear and it was hunting for a gear between 7-8. Is there a way to manually override it and put it in the higher or lower gear?

tow/haul would have helped the hunting. You should also have gear +- buttons on your steering wheel for gear selection.

What he said^^^ just use the Tow/Haul mode

You should be able to engage your ERS with the +/- buttons on your steering wheel. This allows you to tell the transmission to not go above a certain gear.
