I am mesmerized and confused by all this upping the idle talk.When i jumpinto WARLOCK he typically is revving about 1000-1100 for a few seconds then reduces to about 700ish before I put him into reverse to exit the garage. At long lights I know I will be sitting for 40 seconds I shut him off. Am I messing up? I Use PUP 5/20 and Lubeguard and Wix filter

You'd be better off putting it in neautral and slightly stepping on the gas to bring the idle up to 1,000 then shutting it off Dave. Why not run 5W-30 PUP with lubegard instead of 5W-20
Read the note at the bottom,this was in the manuals up till 2017,and you're engine isn't any differant then a 17's engine.

Imo, your good ... I wouldn't shut my HEMI down on an 40 second stop light. I sometimes put the tranny in neutral and rev the engine a few times if I get caught at an extremely long stop light.

Keep on hammering down the highways.

If I read correctly it says to use 5W-20....I have 3 Jugs of 5W20..perhaps on next CDN Tire sale i will get 5W 30 PUP Syn..neutral and a slight rev it is...

If you read that little tidbit i posted Dave,nowhere do they say anything about 5W-20 promoting longevity,all they say is it promotes better cold weather starting and "gas milege",and if they figured 5W-20 promoted longevity,they'd be shouting it to the moon and back,but they aren't,whats that tell you,lol
