Back when I was in the wild for Mobil, popular logging truck was Western Star with dual trailers. They mostly hauled pulp sticks in those days since they'd cut most of the saw logs long ago. With paper going out of business, saw logs are making a slow comeback.

Western Star has higher capacity parts, I was told. We don't run cabovers in the U.S. anymore - they lower the load allowed per U.S. DOT bridge formula. Almost all truck tractors are engine out front here.
