I recently bought a 2018 Laramie with the Sirius XM Satellite radio. I have noticed the USB plug that is down to the right of the radio by the 110 volt plug doesn’t work. Before I start looking at all the fuses, I was wanting to know if this plug receives its power from a fuse. If so which one? The ignition switch is in the run mode.

Are you sure it's stock? I have never seen a Ram with a USB port there. Can you post a picture? Here's a random Laramie dash pulled from a for sale website.

Are you trying to charge phone or play phone into radio?
My 14 has 2 plugs in the center rest, one charges, the other is media to radio, both are USB sockets

I’m trying to charge my phone using the USB port in the dash, not in the center arm rest.

yup same as my 2018. that is used for charging. the one in my flip up center console / seat is what is used to connect to the radio / android audio-carplay
I’m referring to the one in the dash, to the right, down low from the center, under the 110 volt AC outlet. This is the one that doesn’t work or at least not charge my phone. I’m not sure how many I have in my center console, it is full of stuff.

With a few of you saying the same thing that it doesn't work, I am wondering if it's not just a data port only. Basically only pulling data from it to do a radio software update? Just a thought.

Don't know if this will help, but I will offer it up.
2017 Laramie with the fold down front seat console.
USB below the 110 V inverter outlet is charge only and always hot, Key on or off
USB inside console is audio input as well as charge. Will charge with the key off. Obviously key must be on for audio input to onboard radio
12V sockets are pretty obvious as to what they do. Only difference is that the one below the shift knob is only hot with key on.
The one inside the console is hot all the time.
There is also an RCA type jack in the console for audio input.

no, my wife would connect her USB cable to it and change her phone on tips. My cover has 12V on the face of it.

Mine is just a charging port, the one in fold down center console I use for my thumb drive to play music or to use for music on phone.
