A couple of weeks ago, I was taking my daughters to daycare in light rain. I used the mist function so I could see (everything normal).

Once I got driving, the rain picked up so I went to switch the wipers on, and nothing. The fluid still works and the wipers will work on the highest setting, but when I've attempted to use the Medium or Intermittent settings, I get nothing.

I've replaced the fuse which is associated with the wipers, but no change.

(Note: Periodically, when using the Medium or Intermittent settings, the wipers will cycle once or twice before becoming inoperable. High setting always works though.)

Any help you guys can provide would be tremendously appreciated!! I try to be a DIY guy when I'm able.

Sounds like the multi-function stalk has failed.

That's what I'm thinking... I've seen a couple people that said when their cars did that, they replaced a relay (no clue which one) and that fixed it...

Others have said wiper motor...

I'm at a loss.

Need a new stalk my man
Thanks fellas... I'm on the Mopar site.

I can't track down a part number though. Does anyone have it, or know where I can track it down?

(on the diagram, it's #1 on the image, but I can't find the specific part)

So I put the new multi-function switch in the truck (easiest process EVER)... Unfortunately, there's no change at all.

Wipers work as expected on high. On low, they'll cycle a time or 2, then stop.

I read online that some guys have replaced a relay inside the fuse box and that fixed it... But I can't find which relay needs to be replaced.

I'm so annoyed with this... Any input is appreciated!

For anyone who has a similar issue... Ended up being the wiper motor.

Grabbed one for $150 off of Amazon, and returned the multi-function switch. Easy install... And good as new now!

I had a similar issue with my ‘03 Laramie. I replaced the steering column multi-switch stalk but still had the issues. A waste of $90.
It does have the rain sensor and after messing with the computer control panel on the 8.1 radio scree Found a setting that allows me to toggle the rain sensor off. As soon as I did that Every thing works. I can now manually with the stalk turn my intermittent wipers on and they function as they should.
I will say with the rain sensor turned on, the intermittent wipers wouldn’t work at all, but the continuous high and low settings and the washer wiper did work just fine. The rain sensor Doesn’t work. I am going to see if it’s a bad fuse, or if there is a relay or perhaps a bad sensor itself, but honestly, I prefer turning the intermittent wipers on manually myself.
the rain sensor is behind the cover of the rear view mirror Mount and looks at Windshield.
You might see if that is possibly your issue, like it was mine.
