WTB: Tow Mirrors

Hi All,

Looking to buy tow mirrors for my 2018 1500 DS. Heated and power adjust (not power fold) as the truck does not have that function.

Trail Ridge. 1A Auto has them. Had mine almost 5 years and the one just stopped folding yesterday. Contacted 1A Auto and they had a new pair in the mail this morning. Look identical to the factory ones.

Trail Ridge here. Very happy with them. Even more happy with 1A's customer service. I broke a mirror, 100% my fault, clipped it backing off a lift. Called them inquiring about a replacement. They sent me for free a full replacement set, left and right, not the glass mind you, full setup.

When upgrading to tow mirrors, don't forget the additional bracket that goes in the door. Re-enforces the mounting area and prevents mirror vibration.

^ good point. I added the reinforcement brackets to mine and my sons 2018 also. My son traded his on a 2021 2500 with factory tow mirrors and we parked side by side and the mirrors were identical.
I have heard of some that didn't add the brackets and had no issues at all but for my own satisfaction I added them.

Those brackets are not needed. They are just an extra item to spend your money on. I have upgraded my mirrors to the Boost Auto GM style mirrors. I have very little to NO vibration at all. Highway speeds at 75mph.

So the mirrors and the brackets have arrived and are on the truck. Thanks to all who recommended Trail Ridge mirrors. They are definately good quality mirrors.

Got my one on to replace the one that quit folding. Planning on doing the other one over the weekend. They replaced them under warranty and told me to ship the old ones back to continue my lifetime warranty. I have to pay for shipping but I'm ok with that.
