I've posted a couple times so I guess I'll say hello and a bit about my truck and what I've done with it.

My previous and first truck besides my families farm trucks was a 2003 Ram 1500 I bought in 2005. It did me well over the years. Replaced lots of parts over that time period too but never the engine or tranny amazingly. I did all the maintenance.

It finally got to the point though I was about to have a Flintstones truck with my feet through the floorboards and the wife told me it was about time to get a new truck.

I found a great deal on a '21 Classic Warlock quad cab with 19k miles. So, out with the old and in with the newer. I bought it about 4 months ago now.

There was a few things missing I wanted to get added on like some front tow hooks, fog lights, trailer brakes etc but then I found this forum and fell down the rabbit hole. I haven't had a new truck in decades and this has been fun.

I've always kept notes about what maintenance or mods I've done and it's really racked up what all I've changed over the past couple months. It's like a whole new truck.

Some of this may not make much sense but I can answer any questions on any of it.

I just bought the same truck, it's used with only 7000 miles. It's bare bones options with the V6

Thanks for the welcome. I haven't taken to many pics but will see if I can get some posted.

I have a cover to get installed and waiting for fog light parts to get in stock.

Still waiting on my fog light parts to get in stock but I finally got my Leer HF650M quad fold tonneau cover. It has been on back order since March.

I decided to wait as it had every specification I wanted.

I wanted a hard cover since my back tailgate locked.

Quad fold so when folded all the way back didn't take up as much room as a tri fold.

Flip back so I have more space if needed.

Easy to take off if I wanted it completely removed.

Narrow rails to not get in the way.

No drain channel and drain tubes.

My last truck had a soft roll up which was ok besides the Velcro wearing out and the rails were really wide.

WIll see how well it holds up.

Here's the window sticker I got from Mopar site. I love the rim and tires it came with. One of the main reasons I first spotted this truck. Less rim and more tire. Works great for all the various terrains I have to get through. I still can't believe this has an all terrain package yet didn't come with front tow hooks or fog lights. Everything else is great and will do what I need.

Looks good, I like that cover. Rebel wheels look great, those don't come stock on warlocks so you must have gotten lucky with a previous owner adding them.

Your Ram is looking good ..

To get a more complete equipment list than the window sticker,
just type your VIN into ...

Here's the bull rings flush mount. I wanted flush mount to not interfere with a hard top cover. Went though a lot of hard rain and inside is dry besides a little bit on the corners by the tailgate. I'm good with that. My last soft cover was a lot worse.

The side of the bull rings just hits cover flap and doesn't lift up the flap enough to cause any problems.

Guess I can update a bit here.

I hit 24000 a couple weeks ago. I did a oil and filter change. Valvoline high milage 5w-30 because it's what I have and used on my 2003 and a fram endurance because Walmart had it in stock. I do this every 4k. Then air filters every 8k.

My 2003 got the same and I had a little over 280k miles on it. It was the SLT 4.7 V8.

Also...

The powder coating on the front bumper is terrible. At least on mine. It was wearing out and I had lots of spots it was just gone.

So, I bed linered it. I love it now and hopefully holds up better through the brush I have gone through that destroyed the powder coating. I might do the back bumper too because I like the look so much.

I also have a 2021 Warlock and miss the steering wheel audio controls. How did you do the install? Did you have to reprogram anything?

I don't believe I did otherwise I would have made note of it in that first section under AlphOBD in the first post.

This is what I ordered.

I also bought this

I watched videos of people struggling with it and saw one video with someone using that tool and made it easier.

I did disconnect the negative terminal. Which does make the wheel tougher to turn but was doable. That tool made two clips really easy and a third a little bit of work but not hard. I had to of hit the first two just right the first time.

The steering wheel itself was a little work to take off but not horrible. AutoZone has a free loaner for a steering wheel puller kit that I picked up but none of the adapters worked. So, I loosened the center nut as much as possible but not all the way off in case the wheel popped off quickly and hit me in the face. Glad I did because it did pop once past a certain point. I just kind of hit the back of the steering wheel with my palm all around and then started pulling wiggling it best I could till it popped off into the nut.

I did a couple more things.

I put on some Timbrens and removed the stock bump stops DR1500DQ

I don't do super heavy trailering but I do some. I do various loads in the back of the truck from dirt, rock, panels, patio blocks, sand, etc. I did have about 50 patio blocks in the back a few weeks ago and that caused a lot of squat and sway I didn't like. I'll probably have a lot of gravel and sand coming up soon so looking forward to seeing how the Timbrens react.

Installing was super easy. Pulling the stock bump stops out by hand with very little effort. Then to put the Timbrens in I got a chunk of wood I had laying around about the size of a 4"x4" and only about 6" long to help. I jacked up one side. I reached over the tire and placed the chunk of wood on the bump stop plate and balanced the Timbren on top in place where it would squeeze into place where the factory bump stop was. Then slowly lowered the jack. It popped right in. Jack back up and pulled out the chunk of wood.

I also bed lined the rear bumper to match the front. Looks great. At least to me
