I think i'd be converting it to a hanging pedal,instead of a floor mount hinge pedal.

Heavy duty 12G extension cord makes for a good wire run to the back and front on something like your old International.

At least stick it in a good quality garden hose then,do not stick it in a convoluted split loom covering,unless you like fixing it every couple years.

Cabtire is great cable for wiring with,you never said you had access to it,lol. I've used it lots back when i was wiring semi trailers,even it benefits from being run inside a garden hose ,but in your case,i doubt your truck will see any ice road or winter driving,lol
