I will say this about the wife's 4runner.
Thing is to small for my likings.dunno about the newer models..im sure I'll find out here soon though.
Seats seem tiny, can reach the other door without really leaning.he// the Dakota was to small for me....lol
I dont drive it but have of course,I'm a passenger on Fridays for the routine lunch date.only time I'm ever really in it.
Cannot straighten my legs at all....im 5'9 so not a tall fella.
Engine and everything else seem great.
I think I've replaced 1 spindle and 1 caliper and a backlight on the ac dash area in all the years she's had it.

Here is the 24 5th gen my wife just picked up but I'll be tempted to see what they will give us on a 6th gen. I know a lot of diehard 5th gen owners are hating on the new version and will be paying a premium for the "last of the good gen" as they say. lol.

Included the Ram truck in the background so I don't trigger anyone on the forum. Lol Also got a little bit of the jeep in there as well.

Of course my wife is already on me to start modding this 4runner so we will have to see.....

You mean you’ll look at them when the kids are older and to busy to travel as family ! lol unless your keeping the flex for a long time.
I really like the Flex. Its my second one. First one was a 09 and it was a fantastic vehicle. It can haul a ton as well. Plus I think it looks fantastic. I plan on keeping it until the wheels fall off. Right now its got 19k miles on it.

Now I need to redo my driveway, that is the first thing I noticed, no weeds coming up between the slabs, no cracks, looks power washed

Give it some time.... This is actually a new house we moved into last summer so it hasn't had time to get oil stained or weeds popping up lol.

Little late to the party but congratulations on your new 4R soon DILLIGAF! Such great vehicles. I hope these new platforms continue to have the same reliability as the older ones. The new 4Runner looks sharp, and a great ode to the 4th gen with the body shape.

I'm looking forward to that 2.4l and 8speed.

Guys on the Toyota forum are already tuning the 2.4L with awesome results.

Should be even more support in a year when I get mine.
