Posted this in another similar thread. But it's good to see high mileage Rams still getting with it out there. My 2014 2500 Big Horn 5.7 has a bit over over 220k miles on it and still goin strong. I'll drive it until something breaks then fix it and keep goin.
I can replace the lifters on mine if needed myself. But I admit I'm a little older and lazier to tackle it tho.Especially on a motor with this high mileage.I have done excellent maintenance on it for last 120k Ive owned it.

Have you had to make any major repairs to your 5.7? Lifters, cam??

Congrats on that high mileage!

Just the trans, I probably could have gotten away with just doing the valve body, had the infamous 4th gear only limp mode after a couple hours of driving, but with that many miles and having a friend that owns a trans shop, I had him do the whole thing. I did do the timing chain at 210,000 when I did the water pump, other than that, no major work.

I recently bought a 1 owner 2013 Ram 1500 Crew Cab Big Horn 5.7. CarFax shows ALL dealer maintenance/service records with oil changes every 4-5,000 miles all the way to 170,500 miles. Lifter/cam failure at that point. A 2017 5.7 was swapped in and currently has 63k miles of unknown maintenance. I've driven it 1,000 miles so far.

Just went over 61,000 this week on my 2017 Ram 1500 5.7. Original owner didn't put too many miles on it. Think it had 37,000 when I bought it in early 2022. I would've put less miles on it,but last 2 summers due to back issues and eventual surgery couldn't really ride my motorcycle. Usually use my bike in the summer for 40 mile roundtrip commute to work.

115k on a ‘15 Ram crew cab (3.6)
Purchased about 2 yrs ago with 99k.
I did some preemptive maintenance when purchased:
Oil filter housing replacement
New plugs and coils
New water pump and associated housings
New belt
Fluid /oil flushes
Gator soft tonneau cover added.
No issues other than previous owner put some LED’s in that caused constant dash alarms that indicated there were lights out.
I ended up having to replace not only the bulbs but the socket & pig tails as well.
So I’m not really sure what the culprit was.
This engine is very smooth, particularly when at idle - I’d think it was an EV as there is no vibration or noise.
When traveling on the highway I average between 22 & 24mpg
Around town or towing between 17 - 19.
Those numbers are only from the dash
I’ve never put it to pen and paper.
Fit and finish on this Big Horn is very nice and no complaints.
I hope you (all) get many trouble free miles.
