So I built a 3500 Laramie with the HO Cummins on the U.S. site and the Canadian site. U.S. Price 78,550. Interestingly, the Canadian pickup is priced at 95,000, so it is actually cheaper when converted to U.S. dollars (U.S. conversion comes to $70,300U.S. dollars)

I wonder if Canadian dealers give discounts on top of that though? I have seen the free diesel upgrade in the past but not in the US. Assuming we are in somewhat "normal" times you can get pretty deep dealer discounts in the US (usually)

Just for giggles I looked on the Mark Dodge site at a $78k msrp Laramie, after discounts it's final list price is $66.955.

Also have to read the fine print on those dealer "discounts". Most of them don't apply to 99% of the population.

Yeah, it's a great price with the discount. It's a shame you don't have a sister who's first name begins with the letter "Z". Could have had an additional $3000 off.

Yeah, a lot of dealers do that but not Mark Dodge, that's an anybody price. No special requirements for that $11k dealer discount.

Hey all, I have a 2023 2500 6.4l HEMI. Towing a 6000 lb 30 foot camper, can't keep highway speeds without continuos shifting down to 5th, then 6th gear. Ideas on higher gear torque advancements? I have 410 gears, S&B cold air intake, Maganaflow exhaust. Pathetic performance !
Need more torque and power, simple?
Trade it in on a turbo diesel and then throw a tuned program on it. You'll be able to pull a house.

Define "highway speeds" ?
There's driving highway speeds and then there is towing highway speed, for the latter that tops out about 70 max. The faster you go the more torque is needed and that will push the rpms up. Torque is what tows a trailer, the 6.4 torque peak is 4K rpms
Keep in mind that trailer weighs as much as the truck but leverage wise will toss that truck around easily.
At 60 mph you cover a football field in 3 seconds. If something happens and you need to stop quickly it takes about a second to realize what's happening, a second to decide what to do and a third to actually to execute. Given it takes over 150ft to stop just the truck from 60-0 mph, double to triple that while towing.

I tow a 6000# toyhauler with a 1500# sxs in it and I dont have any problems towing of course I'm in florida and I only lose about 2 mpg. I dont put it in tow/haul mode I just limit it to 5th gear and its a powerwagon.

If you want torque at lower rpm, get an old V-10 like I have. 450 ft lb at 2400 rpm.

It's a puller to be a '94 model.
