Back when our local guys were running the 5.0's,i was buddies with the local staff sargent, and we were standing around visiting in their parking lot,and i made the comment to him, about it was easy to tell which ones the young guys were driving. When he asked me how i knew,i pointed out the back tires, the ones the young guys were driving had nothing left of the back tires, while the one he was driving still had good rubber under it.There was some mumbling about him having a chat with his younger members, lol

If you liked to do burn outs that was a fun car to do them in. The LS1 cars were the last ones to really be able to handle that over and over.

So that top car my grandparents when I was 5 rented one it was a convertible with the mother in law seat or rumble seat which ever you refer to it as. I rode in the back and we rode around the Ozark mountains. It was a really fun experience. I was 5 and that's all I remember. I am sure it was a chevy or Buick as he was a GM guy.
This one is a Chevy

You haven't met my wife, she does burn-outs in her 1320 Challenger constantly, lol. She goes through a set of rear tires every summer,to the point i quit putting good tires on the back, now i just buy the cheapest 305/20 tire i can get my hands on,lol.

Looks like 305 or 315 DR's.
Little bit more then that, lol. He's running a 15 X12" rear wheel, and about a 14" wide rear tire. The car has a mini tub job and a 15" brake conversion. The car has no issues boiling the tires at a 100mph :waytogo: It made 1015 on a hub dyno, before he added another 100 horse nitrous hit to it.
