Welcome to the new section Ram R/T. Firstly, I am not an expert in R/Ts. About a year ago I purchased a 2015 Ram R/T and it has been "under construction" ever since, one step at a time. Moe's Performance has been building the truck for me. This is a quick description of my truck so far. The suspension setup is a Belltech 2/4 lowering kit with Core4x4 rear control arms, Spohn adjustable panhard bar, and Helwig rear swaybar. Under the hood is a Vararam Air Grabber Intake, ARH long-tube headers, V6 Electric fan, a Magnaflow Catback exhaust, some under-hood bling from Billet Technology and 3G Customs, and a Diablo I3 Tuner with Hemifever custom tuning, an Edge Racing 3,400 stall tq converter and an Eaton Trutrac. I have also ceramic coated the truck and it has PPF on the front bumper, grille, and the backs of the mirrors. It also has a bed rug and BAKFlip MX4 tonneau cover. In the planning stage shortly is a Moe's Performance NSR cam and a 6.4 intake manifold. Hopefully, that will complete the build--for now. This is the fourth Ram truck I have had, but the first R/T. Hopefully, others will chime in with questions and information about their trucks and hopefully, we can share ideas and information with each other.

Nice truck. I have a 2014 R/T with a 2/4 drop. I am wanting to put a 4/6 which is supposed to ride better. I'm guessing the previous owner didn't put the Beltech on correctly because it rides like a log truck. LOL He put the Viper reps and stipes on the truck also. I also have the HemiFever tune and it made a big difference. B&B3.jpgB&B1.jpg

@Pull Ya

Just visiting for a sec, wanna support other forum member. And no, I do not have an RT, just a CC and a Motorcycle, 2 dogs and a hoss.

Looking good Pull YA. Best of luck, guess I'll pop in once in a moon to peruse. I haven't had a RT truck since 2012.

Didn't know you were rocking this hotrod Jay. Gorgeous truck!

Last I remember you had a same color quad or crew cab truck that was really nice too?

That looks more familiar

Digging your R/t though!

Glad Matt is hooking you up, bought tons of parts from him over the years, cool dude and he obviously knows his stuff!

I am actually on the hunt for a new truck right now. Found a couple R/t single cabs but nothing as nice as your guys' trucks. Mostly 6 speeds though, are the all 6 speeds?

No-generally anything after about 15-16 is an 8-speed. There is a R/T page on Facebook that has some for sale--of course, some look good and some look--not so good. Good ones seem to be running around $25-$30K. They seem to be scattered all over the US. I was lucky and got mine in Houston

I think the 5 speed would be a killer for me. There is a tremendous difference in performance and reliability between the 5/6 speed and the 8 speed. Take a look at some on that R/T page of Facebook--you might find something

My understanding is the 8spd is way to go. If that one I posted had it, I might snag it. But I found a really nice truck I will be picking up early next week.

Glad you are getting your truck all setup. I miss my hotrod 2005 ram and my Dakota R/t. Would love to have a nice 4th gen R/t!

I'm having fun with it. Just a street truck to use around town and maybe some small shows around the area. To damn old to go racing. Just looking for something "nice" and kinda "quick".

First of all , beautiful truck. The color fits it well. I hope that when you get everything done to it that you have planned that you can at least get the chance to run it some where in the 1/4 mile and see how it does. I would love to be able to do all that to mine some day and would like to see the difference it makes.
