I've had a cracked windshield for some time now. Runs from the Very edge to the center and down. Been on the to do list. After having tons of heavy rain and the 20's this morning had a lot of condensation on the inside of the windshield. A large portion on the edge where the glass is cracked.

So scheduled a replacement for Friday and order some amsoil for rear diff service.

Funny you mentioned that.
I cracked mine today, putting in new wiper blades.

Pulled the old blade off and the spring loaded arm slipped from my hand and into the lower part of the windshield.

I’ve changed an unknown number of wipers blades over the years. This is the first time I’ve had an issue.

We are not having good luck with our vehicles the past few weeks.

Took a road trip in the 2026 1500 4x4 from GA to TX and back to visit my sister for her - let's just say "really old" - birthday and party. About 1000 miles each way. The Hurricane ran flawlessly doing 75-80 on the interstates. Had a glitch with Carplay where the iPhone stopped communicating with the UConnect. I think it was because I had it setup using Bluetooth but then connected a USB cable for power. Had to delete both then re-add. It worked great the rest of the trip - but I didn't use the console USB for power after the above. Finished with 20mpg overall for the trip.

Pulled power running boards and installed Rough Country boards. Bought the 2020 with boards playing games. Not dealing with them in the salt belt.
Located air suspension air intake and added a Airbrake antifreeze and conditioner. Thinking next time I do it, I will add a T and line with a cap, so I don't have to pull filter off.

Drove ours from Conway, SC to Tampa Fl. Then to W. Palm BCH, Fl. Then back to Conway. 1371.8 miles. Averages 15.2 MPG

It’s lifted and has heavy AT tires on it. MPG is tolerable.

i never knew it had an intake for the air suspension and i never knew there was an additive for it. does it help the lines and stuff? How is it installed?

They all have a fresh air intake. 4th and 5th gen are behind the Right taillight. There are posts in 4th gen about air suspension and the antifreeze was one of the fixes. It worked on my 15. So I did the same on the 20 for prevention. And I'm using the suspension all the time when wife is riding with me. I bought a bottle of Johnsons Airbrake antifreeze and conditioner from O'Reilly's. Only added 2 capfuls to the system.

Decided I wanted to get a retractable cover with T slot rails built in for a bed rack so I can haul my canoe, wife's kayak & install a roof top tent to do some overlanding with the kids. Looked at the retrax and other brands for their solid metal ones price was over 2k on most so decided to take a chance on an ebay special called Wilmoso and its pretty darn well built for the $620 I paid for it shipped to my door. I need to get the ram seal for the tailgate sections but the rest has held up flawlessly and was even at the car wash yesterday hosing it down. Doesnt take up much space either with the canister in the back can still slide things under it and use the full bed for hauling lumber. I couldnt find any concrete use for the ramboxes with multifunction tailgate but this works perfect with both.

Installed some additional reverse/red running lights from Diode Dynamics. They had to disable the brake light and strobe function due to the errors it was causing. Took about an hour and looks great. The red running lights are on all the time day or night. They plug in using the included 7 pin harness connector and came with all required mounting hardware.

I had my mechanic replace my shorty headers. Went back with the same AFE shorties. Its a good header that makes very good low-end grunt but needing a 3rd repair at a tube/ flange in 6 months I went with a new set. AFE did me right and they have great customer service. I had six good years of service from that set. They are a fine product that delivers.

Replaced the tailgate shock on my new to me ‘22. Now it lowers down more slowly and there’s no WHUNK when it stops.

Pretty easy job too.

I also adjusted the passenger side tailgate latch post a skosh, maybe a skosh and a half, to eliminate the annoying “tailgate open” message as I buzz down the road.

I've been playing with my new TopDon AL500B OBDII Scanner. No codes on the 4 month old truck, and the scanner is losing its awkwardness. Almost becoming 2nd nature. Comes in a nice carry case, to hold the scanner and all the cables. Nice compact unit that fits perfectly under the driver's seat.

A short while ago finished figuring out how to download the newest software version.
