So most of these will be e-torque? The see the base in the 60k's would be very desirable, then mandate e-torque not for me. I didn't even catch where they did or didn't mention it, I guess now lets just avoid discussing e-torque maybe they wont notice. But since the lie was they are going to have to retool Atlantis to take non e-torque, how did they do it for the 470hp version, or did they? Time will tell, more info needed. It's bad enough all of these will have the new kill switches as all cars/trucks will have them, lets hope we don't add e-torque as well. Maybe I read 3 times see if they mention it.

what is the difference in the last two options?

2027 Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, a family of street sport trucks that will be offered with the supercharged Hellcat V-8, the naturally aspirated 392 V-8, and the base Hemi V-8.

I think it was just a typo, one hurricane, 6.4 and base hemi.

Awe third time is the charm, looky here :).. Man I'm getting old.

Ram has stripped the eTorque 48-volt mild-hybrid system out of the Rumble Bee and is now calling this engine Eagle in a star-spangled rebrand. While this model lacks the specialized performance hardware of the 392 Track Pack and the SRT, it gets the full benefit of the stance, style, and low ride height baked into the platform.

So I concur, this is killer affordable and no e-torque, wow OP nice post.

Ram rolled these out and invited everyone to make a video of it :signs1: Right now there's at least a dozen or more YouTube video's on the truck

In 2006 Toyota entered nascar and the rest is history their market cap is like every car brand on auto row combined. RAM entered nascar this year, dodge to enter next year. Over time, we can see Mopar or no car rise again. This is a step forward, a pleasant surprise if you ask me, unexpected as well. Who knows maybe they read this and other forums and are looking for a way out of e-torque debacle. Yesterday I was sure I would never own a new RAM, today it's a maybe. Stellantis needs to make some good moves when it seams like most of their moves haven't been. Now get an affordable car super bee to match this move! I like they aren't all yellow/black too.

An automatic sports car…. Hard pass.

I remember the days you had to pay extra for an Auto. Now you can't find a manual at any price, with few exceptions.

My trade-in was an Toyota FJ with a manual. I don't miss it.

I did own a 1999 Hardtop Corvette with the manual, and I loved it.

Times are a changing.

No, these will not have etorque. The 6.2 and 6.4 never had etorque, nor will they have it in these trucks. The article specifically said that the 5.7 will not have etorque.

They need to roll this wheelbase design out as an option on the regular line because it's awesome - you get all the advantage of the front-seat roominess, still get a usable back seat and a flat floor when you fold up the seats, with the bed size that you get on the crew cab and lops off over a foot on the length. I don't need to go 175 MPH but the wheelbase arrangement would be perfect for me these days - easier fit into the garage, easier parking in the stupid tight Lowe's parking lots, still get a usable flat floor for the occasional stuff that needs to ride in the front like tools and my dog still has a great back seat.

6.4-liter V-8, which Ram is now branding as Apache.

5.7-liter Hemi V-8. Interestingly, Ram... is now calling this engine Eagle

Automotive journalism is on par with the mainstream media. You'd think niche authors would have some expertise in their own area and know that this isn't a "now" thing. The car version of the 6.4L was the "Apache" from the start, as was the 5.7 Hemi being "Eagle". They are acting like this is new when both are more than a decade (nearly two) old.

For the right price, I'd consider the middle ground with the 6.4L. I'm sure the supercharged version will be more than I'd want to entertain. My wallet cramped slightly just considering it. :D
