The key to hemi longevity is treating them like a sports car, IMHO. High RPMs, sustained lengthy drives and the best oil you can afford. My 11 before it was sold at 150k got semi synthetic, up to about 80k, then RP then finally redline. At 150k, no engine problems, guy who purchased still...
I agree with @Wild one I've got 3 1500s, and a durango. All 5.7s. 1 supercharged and minimal issues. I drive them hard, I tow, I start them in sub zero weather and I never back off. I also do a ton of maintenance, they are usually parked inside a garage and I don't let anything go, that could...
I'd do a direct fit muffler and 5 inch tips off Amazon. Total investment less than $400 install time about an hour. It will sound as good as most cat backs. Quiet in cabin, aggressive when you get on it.
I have this exact setup on my 2024 classic warlock. Complete bolt on
North Eastern...
I think apec by Mopar is a quart every 1,000 miles.
I would change out the filter to one of the preferred synthetic media ones. If running the Mopar filter, I'd be changing the filter every 4 to 5 k, if I was running the oil meter to 0%.
My humble opinion
On my 24 classic, I made the mistake of ordering it with tow mirrors. Thought I wanted them
Well at 3k miles. I've already changed the tow mirrors to power fold mirrors. I was lucky, I had previously changed my laramie mirrors out to color matched and I had a set of chrome power fold mirrors...
HIDs are ~$150 a pair. Vs the LEds at ~$40. Like @Wild one I have HIDs in the low beams, LEDs in the fogs and the dropout disabled so they can be on at the same time as the high beams. It's instant daylight. Given the amount of wildlife in MT. I need all the light I can get.
PS, I hit a...
I've got both LED bulbs and HID bulbs in my Rams. 14 & 16 have HIDs. The 24 Classic has LEDs. The HIDs are, IMHO, better in the projector housing than the LEDs. The light output seem to be more focused.
The Farhen LEDs I put in the 24 projector housings took alot of time getting them clocked...
To save a little money I'd put some Vaseline or other type of light lube on the gas cap inside ring to address the loose gas cap before I replaced it with an oem one from mopar. This temporary fix will allow for the code to be cleared and to see if it comes back.
In addition, the evap is...
If you use your truck in your business, it's a business expense, fix it correctly, and reduce your tax burden. I run lots of businesses and most of my efforts are tax avoidance, not profit.
I used thie cable below on my 2024 classic warlock to program several features with AlphaOBD.
KaodTech Security Bypass Cable.
Everything worked perfectly, however I was not bleeding abs modules.
https://youtu.be/jUlh6GPFUsg?feature=shared
It can be big 3 or big 4. I did the 4th cable from battery to fuse box.
Here is a quick video. Use 0 copper cable. It cost about $100. In total. If you follow the video. You will need a 18 inch piece of wire (black). A 4 foot piece of wire...
My 14 RT did this occasionally, usually after sitting in direct sunlight and the cab getting to over 100 degrees.
I did the big 4 upgrade, and as of this writing, have not had this happen in over 6 months.
My 16 Laramie occasionally does this so I about to undertake this big 4 upgrade again...
Tires, shocks or your brackets are moving.
I had a wiggle on the 7 to 8 shift over 80. Welded the brackets no more wiggle. Brackets were moving slightly. Could tell by looking at pattern inside bracket where control arm bolted to bracket.
@Wild one recommended weld in addition to bolts...
It will hit carfax in 90 to 150 days after the date of the accident if a police report was filed.
As to OEM parts, good luck, unless you want to pay the difference in replacement parts and OEM. However Since you were hit, I'd insist on it since the other person's insurance is on the hook...
